Yoga Adjustments Workshop - Using Your Hands with Intention

Saturday, May 17th – 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.


In this class, you will learn to use your eyes to evaluate a particular asana.  You will also learn to use your hands with the intention of helping the student enjoy a more positive practice.  In this playful class we’ll partner up, use props and push and pull on one another.  You do not need to be a teacher to participate.  Some yoga experience is recommended.

Kundalini yoga derives its name through a focus on awakening kundalini energy through regular practice of meditationpranayama, chanting mantra and yoga asana. Called by practitioners "the yoga of awareness", it aims "to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human to uphold values, speak truth, and focus on the compassion and consciousness needed to serve and heal others.  We will do a full sadhana practice and lighten ourselves and the space just that much more.
