Kundalini yoga derives its name through a focus on awakening kundalini energy through regular practice of meditation, pranayama, chanting mantra and yoga asana. Called by practitioners "the yoga of awareness", it aims "to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human to uphold values, speak truth, and focus on the compassion and consciousness needed to serve and heal others. We will do a full sadhana practice and lighten ourselves and the space just that much more.

MODULE THREE ~ Energetic Awakening, Yogic Philosophy and Personal Balance
The goal of the yogi is to learn, grow and unite with the divine inside all of us. Ancient sages identified and categorized many energetic principles and created systematic disciplines to further physical well-being and to relax the mind to awaken an enlightened state and elevate consciousness. Positive and beneficial energy inside and around us goes largely untapped. Building awareness of the roles our thoughts, actions and physical practice play in our overall health and well-being is paramount in being able to inspire and uplift others in personally affirming ways.
